Scott Jurek book signing in san francisco

Hey everyone

I just wanted to let ye know that next WEDNESDAY Nov 14th 2012 Scott Jurek will be doing a book signing and fun run at the presidio sports basement. Its free and I am very excited to attend, so if anyones around its a great opportunity to meet a legend in the making. So bring your copy of his book!!!

Eat & Run – My Unlikely Journey to Ultramarathon Greatness by Scott Jurek is featured on the New York Times Bestseller List and has received remarkable ultramarathon community support.  The book follows Scott’s “Unlikely” story of becoming an elite ultramarathon runner all the while accomplishing it as a dedicated Vegan.  He is also vegan, and to some, veganism alone is a challenge in and of itself aside from running ultra distances and many have commented that this combination is “impossible”.

Scott Jurek visiting the Presidio SB location to share his book and thoughts on eating and running as well as lead those in attendance on a picturesque run along Crissy Field to the Golden Gate Bridge and back.  You’ll run with an elite ‘distance adventurer’, enjoy a Q&A session and copies of the book will be available for purchase to have autographed by the author himself.

Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided.

This is the estimated timeline but even if you can only make the Q&A I don’t think we will be disappointed.

6:15pm – Gathering of everyone attending the fun run with Scott Jurek leading the way (follow the in-store signs to the check-in table)

6:30pm – Special Guest Fun Run begins from front of Sports Basement

7:15pm – Discussion, Q&A and book signing with Scott Jurek

Maybe see you there.
